The Yaya Hat

These images are more than portraits—they are reflections of my journey. In their gazes, I see fear transformed into strength, pain turned into wisdom, and captivity replaced by freedom. Each looks different, yet each holds the meaning of a time in my life, a chapter of growth, survival, and self-ownership. Together, they tell the story of living boldly, freely, and fully.

Heritage

“Like my palette, I carry many colors—stories, histories, strengths, and resilience layered into one identity.”

Radiance

In her gaze, I see a moment of my journey—strength rising from fear, wisdom born from pain, and freedom reclaimed from what once held me back. She is not just a portrait; she is a reminder of the power I now live in, boldly and fully

Goodbye with Power

She looks back at the past, at the experiences she no longer accepts, yet carries their weight only in the softness of her gaze. Every line, every tilt of her head speaks of resilience, of lessons learned, and strength reclaimed. There is a quiet sensuality here—intentional, unapologetic, entirely hers. This is a farewell not of sorrow, but of empowerment: leaving what no longer serves her behind with grace, claiming the present, and stepping boldly into the future.

La Caminante (The Walker)

The Vibe: Resilience & The Gaze Home

"A tribute to the journey of the wanderer. La Caminante represents the courage of every woman who has left her home to seek a new horizon, carrying her heritage in her heart and the dust of the road on her shoes. Though she walks forward, her gaze remains fixed on where she began—a reflection of my own unshakeable bond with Venezuela and my dream of return. This piece is for the brave souls who move toward the future without ever forgetting their roots."

Zora

Because after the storm, the sun always rises.

"Named after the word for 'Dawn,' Zora represents the moment of peaceful clarity that follows a deep transformation. She is the 'calm after the storm' in the YAYA Hat Series.

In this piece, the vibrant florals and the wide-brimmed hat symbolize a woman who has learned to bloom under her own light. With a serene gaze and sophisticated grace, Zora is a tribute to the maturity we find when we finally feel at home within ourselves. She reminds us that no matter how long the night, a new beginning is always waiting.

Veda

Veda: The Code of 17 From the "Yaya Hat" series Veda captures the exact moment of revelation. Her name, meaning "Sacred Knowledge," defines that curious, attentive gaze of someone who has finally decoded a mystery.

Framed by a blue Santa Monica (SM) cap and surrounded by street art, she remains in authentic black and white against a world exploding in neon. The number "17" and the brick textures are more than just a background; they are fragments of a past transformed through intuition. After watching closely, she finally understands it all: amidst the chaos and the scars, the only truth that remains is that "Still it all is love."
